We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) through a secure online gateway, as well as PayPal and wire transfers. All prices are quoted in USD ($).
Your safety is our top priority. We use vetted, private transportation and employ only certified local guides who are experts in local conditions, ensuring a secure and enjoyable experience across all destinations.
We recommend light layers of clothing, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, insect repellent (especially for jungle areas like Tikal), sunscreen, and a rain jacket or poncho, particularly if traveling during the rainy season (June to October).
The local currency is the Quetzal (GTQ). US Dollars are widely accepted in major tourist centers, hotels, and with our guides, but change will always be given in Quetzales. We recommend carrying Quetzales for local markets and tips.
No. All our professional guides are bilingual (English/Spanish). You will find that English is spoken in most tourist areas, but knowing a few basic Spanish phrases is always appreciated by the local people.
Please notify us of any dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, allergies, gluten-free, etc.) at the time of booking. Our private tours allow for flexibility in meal choices and we will ensure your needs are met.
We are committed to sustainable tourism. We hire local staff, use eco-friendly practices where possible, and ensure that our tours respect the archaeological sites and support the indigenous Mayan communities we visit.
es. You must carry your passport with you, especially when visiting major sites like Tikal or crossing borders (if your trip includes international segments), as it may be required by park authorities or local officials.
We offer free date changes if you notify us 72 hours in advance. If you need to cancel, you receive a 50% refund if you notify us more than 4 days before the tour date. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice and No-Shows are non-refundable (0% refund). Bookings during major holidays are also non-refundable. All changes must be requested via email.
